These guys are on the forefront and they’re just two people called Seven.They’ve been flooring regional jamband audiences with their energetic style. Hookahville fans and everyone in attendance at this year’s Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash in Terra Alta took notice – these guys are on to something. Adam Snoderly’s fine acoustic guitar work seems to meet head-on with Brian Gorby’s extreme percussion and vocals. These two sound like a serious ensemble, blowing away conceptions of an “acoustic duo.” “We’ve heard a lot of comments that when people get into a festival and roll up to the stage, they find it hard to believe there are just two people playing,” said Gorby. But it’s just two of ‘em and they’ve put plenty of miles on the van in the past year. They’ve shared the stage with the likes of Keller Williams, Yonder Mountain String Band, JJ Grey, Mofro, Blues Traveler and others. “We’ve been paying a lot of dues and it feels like it’s finally working out,” said Snoderly. “We played our first show four years ago at Sunshine Daydream for Halloween, and did it for free, and we’ve been paving the way ever since.” “We actually had people coming in our van and talking to us after that show,” said Gorby. “It was freezing cold outside, but they really liked what they heard.” Keep an eye out for Seven in 2008 – they’re driving the “mothership” up and down the east coast !
