About Seph Peters

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, raised in SW Margaree Cape Breton, Seph Peters has been exposed to great music his whole life. Now, having mastered the Irish DADGAD tuning, he is in high demand. Find him in NYC playing with greats such as Tony DeMarco or back at home with Troy MacGillivary among others. Also a proficient tenor banjo player, Seph hosts a Saturday night session at the Henry House in Halifax. He is a member of the newly founded band TUIG (myspace.com/tuigmusic) and is working on a number of side projects including material with the band MacCrimmon's Revenge in Halifax.
