There is something very sad and lonely about secretary that really pulls at me. When I first heard the cd "secret life of secretary" I felt a natural sympathy towards The Secretary that was akin to sadness. The stark techno landscapes. Noises and Machine sounds. Sultry late-nite dance grooves. The third world beats and simplicity. Urban developement and cokaine clubs. Then the Beautiful and Emotional Saxiphone crys out in the midst of the CITYSCAPES. Organic, expressive, they pull at one's heart. Alone the secretary finishes her job and then takes a walk into the city streets at nite to forget her boring and dreary existance in a nite of hedonism and sexuality. Her Voice blares out in the streets and expresses the insanity of the meeting of her dual personalities. The quiet, restrained, safe office worker, every day getting up with the dawn to make it to the office ontime. The Sexual Goddess/Modern-Virtuoso, living a secret life of steamy sexuality and unrestrained expression. How can these two personalities live in the same body? What conflict of emotion and reality must that duality bring?
