Sean Rex has always loved music. He began tinkering with keyboards and drum machines as well penning rhymes in high school. In 2003, Rex moved to Los Angeles to attend Cal State Northridge and pursue a career in music. Sean Rex‘s lyrical, and at times comical delivery, is often filled with party rhymes drawing from his experiences growing up in “The Burbs” of Sacramento, California.

Sean Rex has taken from a varied mix of influences that include: The Beastie Boys, Alkoholiks, Outkast, Sublime, N*E*R*D, Jay-Z, & Redman, and created a sound truly distinctive and all his own. Sean Rex’s unique sound and look along with a buzz garnered from 2005’s standout songs “Raw” and “Manifesto,” in addition to countless mixtape projects have led to gigs in some of Southern California’s most well known music venues (Whiskey-A-GoGo, Knitting Factory and more).

Sean Rex Produced the majority of the songs on his debut album “REXXXTRAVAGANZA” and plans on releasing more projects in the near future.
