Martin Pettigrew, rookie on the SC Pirates and currently rostered with both the pro and the minor league teams, is currently featured on the cover of the November 15th edition of Surge, the local magazine popular with the party scene in the Grand strand area. The editor of Surge, specifically asked for Pettigrew because of his matinee idol good looks. Pettigrew will be a heartthrob amongst the teen fans the Pirates have.
"He could be in N'Sync or Backstreet Boys with his GQ looks and his dress style", quipped Zoltan Pal, teammate. "Martin has the aura where when he walks into a place, the girls notice him immediately", Pal finished.
Look for Pettigrew to roll his way into the Grand strand's heart....
