MY ARTIST STATEMENT
HIGH ON COLOR
My soul is filled with color to the point of bursting. The reds and greens and blues and colors not yet discovered dance behind my eyelids each time I go to sleep, or when tears stream down my face. It is my hope that these colors will inspire emotion, induce happiness and produce a feeling of compassion in some cases and excitement in others.
When I am inspired or moved to create, it is the color that motivates every stroke of the brush. I seek to inspire minds to recall those wild 60's, the first ride on a killer wave, the first kiss from the sweetest romance and even that crazy dream. I experiement with technique and medium on each and every creation making my productions one of a kind.
I am always motivated to create by some life altering event, a broken heart, a new job or a mild winter day. My current creations are no exception. I strive to learn better ways to bring my visions to life in full color so that I can add just a little emotion to the daily lives of all who see them. Some might say my paintings are drug induced, I like to call it being high on color.
Who I'd like to meet: I am interested in meeting people who make things happen, who are on the peace train, who love nature, who are green friendly, like adventure, don't beleive what the tv tells them and who can help me unlock the mysteries of love and the cosmic universal truth of understanding.

Hahaha. That will teach ya to leave us alone....we just took advantage of having the place to ourselves!!! Actually I'm surprised you didn't wake up when T & L got there. They pounded on the front door before letting themselves in. Arlo and I weren't expecting to see them walk down the stairs...lol
Glad to meet a couple more "normal" mountain residents. I was beginning to wonder if they existed :)
