About me:
Scorpion Tattoo opened in Watkins Glen on Dec 15, 2004. I lived in Phoenix, AZ prior. I left Phoenix in the summer of 2001 in search of new things. I traveled across the country with bands working with sound, stage, and security, ect... I was able to practice my art everywhere and any where, which consists of tattooing, airbrushing, painting, whether it be car, truck, motorcycle, canvas, and even odds and end objects, caricatures and portraits. I do chainsaw carvings and not the boxy ones either. I work in a plethora of mediums. I've worked as a professional artist for over 15yrs.
I've worked in the automotive industry for many yrs working as a Body/Paint man. It was through this medium that I found many discoveries as an artist.
I enjoy making short films, there seems to be a real art in the editing of it all.
I also enjoy the martial arts. I enjoy hardsuit fighting in the SCA. (too many things to list.)
My father once said to me " You need to find just one thing and stick with it". I said to him " But father I have, It's art and art is in everything!"
Scorpion Tattoo is dedicated to Making sure that the customer gets the art that they desire. It's all about getting the art that you want not what I think you should get. I can only suggest but it is you that needs to make the final decision. I'm not a mind reader; so if you have an idea in your head then you need to explain your idea as clearly as possible, in other words don't be vague! Be sure that you are asking the right questions when you come in.
All to many people get flustered or frustrated because they can't get their point across, but sometimes it is merely because they don't ask the right questions. Communication is the key to understanding.
