Brooklyn's Savoir Adore make atmospheric, synth- and guitar-heavy indie pop.
Formed by fellow NYU students Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro in 2007, Savoir Adore signed to the Cantora label -- home to the similarly inclined neo-psych band MGMT -- and released The Adventures of Mr. Pumpernickel and the Girl with Animals in Her Throat EP. Savoir Adore quickly garnered buzz for their live shows, which found the duo fleshing out their sound with a backing ensemble. In 2009, they released their debut full-length, In the Wooded Forest. Three years later, they returned with the '80s dream pop-infused Our Nature.

During the early stages of production on a follow-up, Muro and Hammer parted ways. Subsequently, Hammer began collaborating in the studio with several guest co-vocalists including Leah Hayes, Lauren Zettler, and Winslow Bright. In 2016, the new look Savoir Adore delivered their third studio album, The Love That Remains, featuring the single "Giants." ~ Matt Collar
