About me:
i still believe in the restorative power of white christmas lights in every season and virtually every decor. if i were a color, i would be opium den burgundy. if i were a fragrance, i'd be cornered with woodsmoke and kept in an amber glass jar. if i were a tree, my leaves would turn silver in a strong wind. i pile up books and incense sticks in every half space and often forget to write back. i do believe in faeries! i do! as any INFJ, once given proper lease, i'll question your comfortable assumptions within an inch of our lives--but hey, as any INFJ, i'm really nice about it.
i found a boy who matches and we live in maryland now. someday soon i'll grow into these shoes, but for the time being they drop the heel a bit if i'm not careful. just watch. you'll see.

Who I'd like to meet:
love is a strange thing, sometimes, and life-long commitment a new/old consideration as subtly intimidating as it ever was. honesty, receptivity, return and a capacity for real self-examination remain my gold standard for lasting friendship. though i love a good hoedown every once and a while, it's more important for me to have friends who trust me enough to convey themselves without agenda or deception. at least as important, for your own well-being, is to not take my occasional distances personally. it's just how i am.
