lucidia horseflesh-cakes's Interests
General
As i said earlier i am rather compulsive obsessive so these can be fleeting - drinking, smoking, watching dvds, painting, playing the guitar, using fasttracker to create music, wrestling, animals, plants, vampires, alternative lifestyles... i am rather sad and collect things like pretty rocks and coins (both foreign and old) both of which i have been doing since i was quite small so not every obssession dies...
But I'm a Cheerleader - Splendid movie, quite arty, superb message
Princess Bride - Best fantasy film ever made... inconceivable!
Vertigo - Classic masterpiece
Mean Girls, A Knight's Tale, Sirens, Galaxy Quest, Water, Withnail & I, Fierce Creatures.. dare I say the Harry Potter series...
Television
i used to enjoy Andromeda, Buffy, Scrubs... But since the Great Russell T Davies has resurrected Dr Who absolutely everything is just soooo weak... Okay Casanova (starring David Tennant & written by Russell) and Torchwood are well worth watching still but most of the DVDs that cover my bookshelves now seem rather redundant...
The Fourth Doctor is your favourite, as well as being the longest running Doctor. Was it was his eccentric wit or Leela in a skimpy costume that swayed your judgement?

Books
i am not the biggest of readers, i have a large collection of reference non-fiction but lots of it is scarily out of date - still that does make it reference and history all in one! Thus saying i am a fan of Neil Gaiman's Sandman novels, Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker novels... and those novels that have made me question my perceptions...
"Crying of lot 49" by Thomas Pynchon - Highly recommended... The Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien... and most recently Julian Barnes History of the World in 10 and a half Chapters... and i must say thank you to those who have recommended things that have changed my views... still got Tom Wolfe to go...
Heroes
Those who live their lives and make a difference... anyone and everyone who has changed the world for the better... "i know it's the duty of those of us who care about the planet to go on living.." Make a difference...
About me:
There are many facets to my personality... one fancies itself as a writer... an analyst of our society... another as a visual artist... i have a tendancy towards obsessions... compulsions... painting is my latest...
Take a look at my pics and let me know what you think...
i have been many things in my time... i shall be more... who knows what is around the next corner...
Your Dominant Intelligence is Spatial Intelligence
You've got a good sense of space and how the world around you looks.
You can close your eyes and "see" images. You have innate artistic talent.
An eye for color and shapes, you're also a natural designer.
Since you think in pictures, visual aids and demonstrations help you learn best.
You would make a good navigator, sculptor, visual artist, inventor, architect, interior designer, or engineer.
You definitely have an addictive personality, and you're probably hooked on something.
Even if it's just peanut M&Ms or online shopping. (or maybe even myspace!!!)
Who I'd like to meet: Apart from the two above, any of the following would be cool... Dr Who, Chaucer, Spike, Nazir, Adam Ant, Jim West, Captain Jack Harkness, Russell T Davis, Alice Cooper, Blixa Bargeld... Lots and lots of dead people... and on a more realistic note... anyone who shares my interests in life, the universe and everything ;-)
