first to stream full songs and albums on the web without commercial consideration with about 6 hours of music at irupert internet radio, the first prototyped internet radio site in 1995-1996, with myhouse communications - now defunct. back then, people would put up a minute’s worth of a song and then actually expect you to BUY it. i gave it away.
first to protoype online video streams music programs as a beta project - irupert internet video - now defunct. 4 programs of DC Metro area music each about an hour long.

does anyone else play keyboard, theremin and sing at the same time? if not, i’m it, or at least i think i was the first.
WHAT THE CRITCS SAY:
"Rupert, you are absolutely obnoxious. Why don’t you spend the time you waste posting irrelevant, insulting and bandwitdth-eating comments on this forum getting some much needed theremin practice, or better still destroy your infernal contraption so that none of us ever have to listen to your abominable compositions ever again.
Your playing is, quite frankly, absolutely diabolical. Claiming the defense of ’avant-garde’ or experimentalism is futile. Your music is structureless, poorly generated and abysmally conceived. I would actually question whether it even deserves the name ’music’ at all.
Please leave. And get a haircut."
Charlie Draper - 16 year old theremin whiz - you should have heard what he said to Simon Cowell!!!

You list Dick Hyman as an influence. He is one of the greats -- I have "The Electric Eclectics", "Age of Electronicus", and "Concerto Electro" -- lots of fine music.
Hey, visit Kansas City sometime... great BBQ and great Thai food, too.
