About me: Tall ( 6'5" ). Moved to Seattle in Nov 03 from San Francisco. I'm spending a lot of time with Rufus, my Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy (check out my blog for details of our adventures). Slightly goofy sense of humor. High energy, but mellow (if that makes any sense). Speak German and Italian (lived in both countries, and have traveled a fair bit). Voracious reader. Lived in NYC for a while, and miss it. Have also lived in DC, Regensburg, Rotterdam, Bologna, and San Francisco. Have taste for Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk (best eaten with a cereal spoon and an oven mit), travel, good conversation and fine company. Am a big believer in active Saturdays and slothful Sundays. Love playing "name that movie quote". Have a weird encyclopedia memory, which enables me to rock at Trivial Pursuit, but regularly dumps where I put my car keys. Am into outdoor activities (mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and adventure racing, which combines all three).
I'll be doing Primal Quest 2008 with Team Goonies. I'm a bit intimidated and EXTREMELY excited!
Here is another great AR video about EcoChallenge
Here is a video of a race I did up in Quebec in 2006.
Part 2 of the video...
Who I'd like to meet: Looking for training partners (running, swimming, cycling), activity partners (mountain biking, hiking, camping)
