Frank Rothkamm [ www.rothkamm.com ] is a composer, conceptual artist and computer programmer who has been moving between Los Angles and New York for the past decade.

Guided by “quasi-mystical principles of a philosopher-cum-musician” (e|i) he is the progenitor of the aesthetics of supermodernism, sci-fi serialism, and IFORMM; the tri-fold unity of tuning system, synthesis process and physical instrument.

As a “lone wolf genius” (Sound Projector) he has produced concept albums that are “highly entertaining” (Wire), “charmingly eccentric” (WZBC) and “enigmatically unpigeonholeable” (Touching Extremes) and is considered “one of the great talents of our time” (WDBX).

They released a self titled EP in 2004, now Vulgo Metropolis EP represent the first step in their new sound, and this is the “single” from the forthcoming album); a 2 songs ep, released for Chew-Z Netlabel. They sound like a slow Bastard and a nervous Legendary Pink Dots, and they have been inspired for the release of these tracks by Antonio Sant’Elia (Italian architect of the beginning of 20th century).
