About me:
Nicholas Ozment teaches English at Winona State University. He has taught literature courses on Horror in Fiction and on J.R.R. Tolkien, and assistant-taught World Myth as well as Film. His love of fantasy and horror has been going strong for three decades, and his own contributions to the genres have appeared in such magazines as _Weird Tales_, _Mythic Circle_, and _Mythic Delirium_. He has work forthcoming in _Surreal_, _Raven Electrick_, and _Dreams & Nightmares_, and reviews books and movies at www.downinthecellar.com. His essay “Gandalf’s Staff, Prospero’s Books: Magic in Tolkien and Shakespeare” will appear in _Tolkien and Shakespeare: Essays on Shared Themes and Language_ from McFarland & Co (spring 2007). He lives in Minnesota with his wife and a hyperactive black lab who drops bones in his lap when he is trying to write.
