Brazilian composer and musician Ronaldo Folegatti went to Germany at the age of 22, where he became a professional.
In the 15 years he lived there, Folegatti played with Frank Lüdecke, Hendrik Meurkens, Walther Gauchel, Dudu Tucci, Topo Gioia, Rolo Rodriguez, Chico Mello, and Guilherme Castro, among others. His first CD, Sounds of Watercolors, was released in 1990 in Germany and in the U.S. the next year, reaching the Gavin Report's Top 40. His second release, Lust, Comics & Some Other Dreams, had the participation of Till Brönner and Ronnie Stevenson, consolidating his style that mixes Brazilian and jazz music, ranging from big band to free. Since 1995, he has lived in Brazil, and, in 2000, he released two CDs, Mazy Tales and Anjos & Estrelas. ~ Alvaro Neder
