Lance and Peter - Proprietors
Lance and Peter opened ROCKS in March of '07. While Lance enjoys the bear and leather community and coming to those events in his assless chaps, Peter is the total opposite. Peter tends to focus more on the Twinks and Rocks new Ice machine which according to Peter makes really hard ice!
Craig - General Manager
Craig is one of two managers at ROCKS. When craig isn't working hard selling real estate you can find him drinking lots at Rocks! He also enjoys spending time watching The BET!
Bobby - The Better Manager
Bobby recently jumped on board at ROCKS as a manager. Stop out to see him bartending Monday nights! He's as gentle as they come but makes a mean drink! Please be patient sometimes he has a hard time seeing over the bar.
ROSIE - Bartender!
Rosie has been bartending for many many years. Matter of fact when he first started they called them Saloons! Rosie's Pet Peeve is when someone asks him for the grey goose and he has to use the step ladder to get it. You may know Rosie as the former proprietor of PLAYERS where Rocks is currently housed. Stop in and See Rosie on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday Afternoons!
Shawn - DJ / Bartender
We're so happy Shawn is with us at Rocks! He's just a delight! Shawn bartends on Wednesday Night, DJ's therapy thursday, Saturday Nights as well as Sunday afternoons. Shawn also does the ROCKS myspace page. A DELIGHT I say!
Louie - Bartender
Louie Bartends every other Saturday Night. He may look really really angry but he's a sweetheart. If you have an extra piece of gum offer it to louie it's his favorite!
Donnie aka "Dee Dee" - Bartender!
Donnie bartends Wednesday, Friday and Sunday afternoons. He's as gay as they come! Didi will make you a fabulous drink! On Occasion someone may stump him and he'll have to use the book to look up drinks. For instance, like the other day when someone asked him what's in a Rum and coke!
Tommy - Bartender
Tommy is our newest bartender. The guys come in and drool over this buff bottom. Tommy is a sweet guy you'll love chatting with him! Just dont ask him any hard questions like what's 4 x 8?
Alvin aka The Aman! / Karaoke Host
Everyone in Albany, NYC, Montreal, Syracuse, Springfield...knows Alvin! Most of you have had him! Alvin hosts "Grab the Fucking Mic" Karaoke on the 1st and 3rd Sundays on each month. Alvin loves when people buy him a drink but remember he doesn't drink much so only get him a small one. On occasion you may catch Alvins alter ego "Alvina". You'll more than likely see 3 or 4 people carrying her out while she screams.
Joey - Trivia Host / DJ
Joey is the host of Wednesday Night Pop Culture Trivia! He also spins between rounds as well as after the drag show! On occasion you'll see him fill in for Shawn on Sunday Tea Dance. Joey's favorite color is Fire Truck Red and he's been known to set off an alarm! Ask him about it!
Shawn - Bareback!
Whoops, that's barback! Shawn is the hardest working employee at rocks. No one can lean back on the bar and drink a corona like him. If he's really trying to show off on the job he'll even do a shot!
Dan - Barback!
Dan may pronounce the wrong names but he works his almost non-existant ass off! Listen close and you may hear him mispronounce the names of "mish-elobe" and "budwiser". You'll definitely know when Dan walks by. If you ever take a wiff and think "did someone just let one go?" you'll know Dan is in the house! |
