   About Rock Plaza Central
Although the name Rock Plaza Central has been floating around Chris Eaton for over ten years, the name now focuses on a band of specific people, all of which are listed on the left. We met by accident, when a band including Chris, Don and Blake opened for a band including Scott, Rob and John, and everyone ended up on stage together and never stopped.
About a month later we recorded the world was hell to us almost entirely live off the floor, in first takes, without really even knowing the songs. We went in with 6 and somehow recorded 12. It was a story of a war between humans and angels.
Then we met Fiona, who also instantly became a member because it was right, and after playing for another year, we recorded Are We Not Horses. It was kind of a sequel, about robotic horses who think they are real horses, caught in a battle between good and evil, between the angels and humans. And after eradicating the world of the angels, wondering if they fought for the right side.
Somehow, people have related to this story. For this, we are grateful. The number of people who have told us that this album helped them overcome something in their lives is really special to us. It is the most important possible result of music, I think. Even if it's overcoming one bad day. Or overcoming insomnia. Or overcoming the fear of singing out loud. We like it when people do that, by the way. People have apologized after doing it at shows. To quote one of my favourite artists, Busta Rhymes, "Every voice should sing and help the music sound miraculous!"
The last year has brought us all over the place, playing and singing with people. It's been lovely meeting all of you. And we've recently found time to work on some new songs, which is also exciting to us. They will not be about robotic horses. Nor will they be another sequel. But they will be songs we like to play, which is basically what we've always done.
You can purchase copies of Are We Not Horses for only $14.99 by clicking the buttons below the album (make sure to select the proper destination):

shit, now I feel like a jerk. Looks like it was just a week ago. I'm sorry I missed it, I don't know how it happened. I guess that just means that you'll have to come back through some time.
I promise I'll be there next time

Hey guys, I really wanted to come see you tonight in KC, but unfortunately I'm sick and I can't make it up there. Some of the other Paper Airplanes might, though. Please come back again sometime. I hope the mid-west is treating you well.

I just want you to know that, out of every other band playing the Monolith Music Festival, I'm looking forward to you guys the most. I'll be the long haired tall guy screaming out to hear "Are We Not Horses?". You don't actually have to play it, but man ... it would make my month.
