As the Artistic Director of Polaris Dance Theatre ,
I am dedicated to refine and define my artistic voice. I strive for the continuing elevation, awareness and presence of this organization and it's amazing group of dedicated artists. I would also like to reach out and collaborate with other dancers, companies and artists of all disciplines. And with our combined energy and talents, we enlighten, engage and challenge, as we inspire each other. I inspire to create works of depth and purpose that feed and nurture the mind and heart. And in the end, through our expression,...make a difference.

I love all music. Except for noise called music that is just,...noise! - and has no purpose.
Below is a sampling of music, composed, performed and arranged by Robert Guitron. Most of this music was created for dance and the making of dance and the rest is just for fun.
CHANGE & CHANGE 1: Is music I am working on for the premier of an evening length preformance coming in 08'. This is a sort of preview of that music, which is still a work in progress. We'll keep you posted with updates.
RED TIDE: Is music I made and choreographed too, for our show in 06' titled "SCAPES". The score is 22 minutes in length and consists of 5 movements. Below are the last 3 movements. The reason I've had to break it down like this is because this player does not allow me play anything over 4 minutes long. The actual piece, all 5 movements, link with each other as one continuous thread.

In former days, I would have gone out and danced "endlessly" for hours ... Whereby in recent days, my mobiity has changed considerably (i.e. have finally accepted depending upon an electronic wheelchair within the immediate future ~ although this will hopefully be short lived :)
Thank you again for your well-wishes, my friends. As you glide through your motion, please send "a little something" to a passionate fellow dancer who will be moving with you in spirit :)

I miss you guys too...but salad bar really wouldn't be the same if i came back. I stopped drinking!! You wouldn't even recognize me now, i'm 15 lbs lighter...whoa!
