Rise was formed by chance; the ’jam band’ of Ash Cooper, Dan Leggatt and Marty Leggatt were asked to do a charity gig in 2006; they accepted, but needed to find a vocalist in two days. Following many phone calls and much searching, Tom Vane was drafted in. After 2 hours of rehearsals in the morning of the gig and much singing in Tom’s car, we delivered a near perfect set (all things considered, they weren’t your average metal-heads). Afterwards, the band decided to continue with what they had hastily started, and thus began to work on original material. To this day, we continue to write, record and perform.
We recommend
The best way to listen to our music is through a nice pair of stereo headphones, turned up as loud as possible, in order to fully appreciate the FULL SONIC EXPERIENCE our music has to offer ; ) Alternatively, you could come and see us live,
as we are mainly a live band and large speakers will be provided for you!
This has been a public service address from the Rise technical support team ; )
If you want to book Rise or contact us for any reason, then please use the message button on this page, or go to one of our individual profiles (see top friends) to contact us directly.
