About me: I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend. I love life and am extremely blessed.
I was a Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse for 21 years, retiring last year to spend more time doing what I want to do.
I am a food journalist in newspapers and magazines and have started my own publishing company. Because of my love of writing (and riding), I also have written a motorcycle travel book called The Little Black Biker Book (along with some wonderful help from some old and new friends). I'm really stoked about it. We have had an amazing response. I've met so many new friends along the way and am so excited to have them involved in the book.
I'm all about my family. I am so crazy about my sons, even though they all grew up and deserted me. Now it's just me and my husband. We've learned to deal with the empty nest by doing a lot of traveling and riding. (We have to make it through somehow!) The only people who dictate my time now are my cats.
I love people who laugh out loud and live honestly. I can't stand rudeness and arrogance and people who drive slow in the fast lane. I believe in positive thinking and the power of prayer.
I believe we all can achieve our dreams if we are willing to reach high enough.
