meeting new people from all over the country and world who share a passion for traditional american music and dance. expanding my knowledge of jazz dances such as, social and performance lindy hop, charleston, blues, black bottom, balboa, cakewalk, and various historical jazz movements. learning about the history of these dances and the music that inspires them. TRAVELING. spreading the love of jazz, blues and lindy hop. they really do make the world a better place. :)

THE RHYTHM AND JAZZ REVIVAL is bringing the most talented dancers and jazz musicians from all over the country to the Twin Cities for a weekend of non-stop live music and dancing.
Evening events feature performances by internationally recognized dancers, local swing dance crews, and musicians from the Twin Cities AND New Orleans. These folks are sure to inspire you to keep your feet movin' and hips shakin' all weekend long.
Daytime events include *unique* lindy hop, charleston, blues, balboa, AND jazz music classes for all ages and ability levels. Dance classes feature LIVE MUSIC and music classes focus on rhythm instruments such as; guitar, drums, washboard, and more.
