About Reverend John Taylor Sykes

The Reverend John Taylor Sykes is a minister of the Universal Life Church in Modesto, California and a country music apprentice to a higher power. He has often been described as sometimes unashamedly channeling the ghost of Johnny Cash while generously lubricating the channels of New Country, Folk and Pop at the same time. Sykes maintains an open mind to all styles of popular music, as he is well aware that music is the easiest path to a man's soul. He is also openly critical of social networking tools and the spiritual decay that they are beginning to spread.
