Back in high school R-J had a passion for pop music. So with his slick dance moves, strong vocals, and striking Pacific look he formed a boy band. Over the next six years the band introduced different members and played with different flavours, but never found the right combination. Even offered recording deals on two separate occasions, the boys declined the offers because they weren't able to put together a sound they were happy with. Nor was there a totally shared dream, which would enable them to completely achieve their goals.
In early 2000 R.J ran into an old rugby mate Ben, a hip-hop inspired MC with a great sound and an even better look. They then by chance crossed paths with Steve. Trained in Classical Piano and with an ear to create the music to R-J and Ben's talented lyrical rhymes. It was decided he was the perfect addition to the group. It was later discovered that blonde Steve had the voice perfect 4 ballads and an amazing writing talent that has got request where they are today. The three now felt it was time to concentrate on recruiting another member so that their goals could finally be achieved. Someone with a more soulful and RnB sound. Steve had become friends with a guy through work and after telling him about the band, Rock, with his infectious personality and dangerous dancing style was recruited by the boys and Request was finally on their way to success...
