Enya, Loreena McKinnet, 2002; luv anything with that old-world Celtic sound, also listen to a bit of Josh Groban, Andrea B., & Sarah Brightman on occasion. A few other favs include Garbage, Blue October, Smashmouth, some Greenday, Kutlass, anything country once in a while, & a bit of Norah Jones, Sade, & Michael Buble here & there.

I love to read; my shelves are filled with lots of fantasy stuff, including Terry Goodkind, T. Brooks, of course Tolkien, Robert Jorden, etc. Also read lots on architectural design, landscaping, interior design, sustainable design, & anything else inspiring.
About me:
I'm a starving artist.
I currently live & work in Nampa, Idaho. I'm married to the love of my life, Kevin, we've been together now for almost 4 years. My life if pretty much all about the artwork; I display my work in a few places in Boise & McCall--check out my website for more on that... I work mostly with steel, dabble with a bit of stainless, copper, & bronze, but steel is my medium of choice. I hope to get into large scale public art; that's the long range goal anyway, right now I dont have to room to create 30 foot tall sculptures, but someday.....
Lets see, I drive a big truck, shop at the army surplus store, like to wear high heels & sparkley stuff, never do my nails, love to garden but hate flowers on clothes or walls, I wear steel-toed logging boots most the time, but I like to wear skirts alot too, I never leave the house without make-up, but usually end up with grease on me somewhere, I carry an ammo can for a purse, have a lot of cats, & I'm slightly obsessive when I get an idea in my head...

Hey back to you, I'm doing great. Can't believe how fast summer's going by!!! I have to work tonight and tomorrow and then we are off to tour the Redwood forest and go housebotaing for a week over at Lake Shasta...whoopie, can't wait!!! How's your summer been going??? Yes, we definately need to hook up sometime and do something fun before the snow flys!!
Sounds like a plan... the first week of August I will be at the Custer Co. Fair. Fair Board duties call.... but maybe we can do lunch or something! Keep me posted.. I would love to see you. Dusty said you stopped by. Like our round rock ranch?????
The end of July, we'll be in Lake Shasta houseboating, I believe from the 22-29th. But we sstill need to get together for a camping trip this summer sometime!!!

I wil do my best. Cole is in baseball now and it makes it difficult to do anything but be a chauffer. Good to hear things are so busy for you. the only thing new here is we are getting ready for another baby. should be arriving around first of Oct. ;) THIS IS THE LAST!!!!
Hey, thanks for coming and bringing the flower basket, I can't wait to get them planted!!! Poor Kevin will never think the same about the Swain's. Hey, did that air mattress hold air, or did you guys deflate when you left??? If it didn't hold air, I apologize....damned air beds anyway!!
Heck ya, the party will prolly just be getting started by the time you show up. We'll have a room set up for you and Kevin!!! Whoopie, glad that you can make it!
For sure!!! Oh, just by eyeballing the wall, I'd say it's about 6-8 feet wide and all the way up to the ceiling tall, we have vaulted ceilings in the living room, and it's right in the middle of that vault, so say 10-12 ft up there...how's that for vauge. Hope you get all that you need to get done this coming weekend, and yes, we'll hoop it up one of these days when you can get up here!!!
I might just have to take you up on the offer of something to create on that one wall of mine....it's still blank, I just can't find anything that I like there!!!! I know you're busy with all your projects for now, so don't interupt what you need to do for yourself, but if you get to it....let us know what you're thinking and how much....you can't just do something of your talent for free my dear!

Hey Cuz, how's it going? I love this pic of you, very good pic!! I miss seeing you and the kitties, how are all of them?? Work in Twin is going well, it's been fun being there, lots of the same people there from when I left there years ago. Logan's finishing up with wrestling, what a site to see. And Harley just started volleyball! Busy busy busy, we hope to be moving into our house this week...whoooopie, then we'll have a house warming party, so you'll have to come up ok??
