About me:
Fearless, wild, free-spirited, and unique. Such characteristics in today's young woman have all but been reduced to media buzz words in a pop-culture meltdown. However, every so often, a true and honest point of view rises to be heard above the noise to capture a new direction in style.
Introducing... RED LETTER GIRL... a brand new cosmetics line created by Josie Outlaw, keyboardist of punk-dancehall-rockers The A.K.A.s . After growing up making her own one-of-a-kind clothes, and with a background in cosmetology and fashion design, Josie's talents as a makeup artist and stylist were tried and tested for a well known cosmetics company. While she enjoyed the craft, she was nonetheless discouraged by the corporate lines marketing "funky" and "edgy" looks designed by those obviously on the outside of the culture. With her strong Do It Yourself ethos honed over years of involvement in the punk community, in addition to her well-known instructional Blogs, Josie began a mission to create a cosmetics line for like-minded ladies... those who love to express themselves, stand out, and stand up!
Inspired by the spirit of style born from adversity and necessity to be seen and heard,
RED LETTER GIRL is proud to present... "CHROMATOSE" .... a nine color line of cleverly culled chromatone eye shadow colors. With handy reusable packaging and animal-friendly attitude, these loud and beautiful colors are undeniably cool in the truest sense of the word.
