I have a lot of different interests.... I love the outdoors, hiking, camping,
anything with water! I love the ocean! I love my step kids and I
loved being a step mom to them. Now that I am divorcing their dad, I don't
have that anymore and I miss it a lot. I love gardening, arts and crafts,
computers, designing my own backgrounds, contact tables and extended banners...
I love celtic faires and festivals, traveling, learning and experiencing new and
different things........
Music is such an essential part of life... It can soothe us, excite us, make us happy, make us
cry, inspire us, anger us, relax us....... I have an eclectic taste in music....
What I listen to is dependant upon whether I want to match my mood or change my mood... I love my Celtic heritage and everything about it. My most recent "quest" is to learn more about Celtic Druidism. I am spiritual but not "religious"..... I am complex and simple at the same time. For the most part, life is an adventure and I've learned to just roll with it. Take it as it comes and deal with it day by day. I never stay angry long and I don't hold grudges, I see the good in people and am sometimes too forgiving and trusting. I have a big heart and it's been broken
more than a few times, never so much as it has been recently. I like to people watch, I like to try and figure out what makes people tick and why they are the way they are. I enjoy the outdoors, I love the water...I've been kayaking a few times and would love to do it a lot more. I'll stick to lakes though, no rough rivers for me... too old for that shit now. LOL! I love animals! I had my own pony when I was 5 and used to jump on her bareback and no reins and ride and ride... I wish I was still that fearless!!! I had a horse when I was a teenager but traded her to my dad for a car when I was 16. I was
rebellious as a teen and early adulthood but I always took my responsibilities seriously. I've worked from 16 years old until I got sick a few years ago. 10 of those years were spent in the social work field. I LOVED it! Helping people, making a difference in their lives. I'm creative and love to make things, a lot of my gifts and cards are handmade. Too bad I can't make any money at it!!! Sometimes people think I'm aloof and stuck up... but really it is just that I am shy until I get to know someone. I'm not great at starting conversations. I observe. I am getting better at it though and recently have started to make new friends. There's a lot more, like I said, I am complex.......but I don't want to make this any longer than it already is..... if you want to know more, just ask. I'm an open book.
