Techno is awesome! You may not realize that it's awesome because it doesn't have epic melodies or pretty vocals, but the more you listen to it the more it grows on you. Techno is mechanical. A lot of people say this is what makes it lame. They're wrong. This is what makes it AWESOME. Robots are fucking cool, and robotic music is therefore cool by default. Once you recognize its inherent awesomeness, the cheesiness of popular dance music becomes unbearable and you find yourself saying "Enough with the breakdowns already! Gimme some fucking rhythm!"
Anatoli Russki (1/2 of Piltdown Sound) - veteran techno djs/producer he has been moving and shaking US dancefloors since mid ’90s. Having DJed at major events from New York to Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and many more, he has also been perfecting his production skills all the while. WMC 2008 is when it all finally came together with release of "Subversion" track. Debuted at several major WMC events it received superb feedback from djs, record labels and party people. Steady punchy minimal techno style, it has since been requested by key minimal/techno djs from all corners of the globe and played at major events in Australia, China, UK, US, Canada, Argentina, Brasil, and Russia!
