RECIFE sounds like progressive pop or post-rock, arranged with gliding electronic sounds ( keyboards, groovebox ) and samples. Many influences cross the music, but most of the songs are inspired by some big travels around the world, especially in Brazil.
Our first Lp "New Ams" released in October 2004 on Deabees record.
The city of Recife is just the point where began the writing of this album. The music was inspired by the state of slow decay, the cracks in the walls, the abrasive lights and the vision field depth of this Nordeste brasilian city.
An EP called "Microwave" released in October 2006, still on deadbees record.
We are currently working and recording our third album, to be released in Autumn we hope.

Extrait: Songe : Je me tenais debout dans un bain de lumière. Je sentais la nature respirer tout autour de moi et tout près de moi. De grands arbres m’entouraient et la couleur verte dominait. J’avais les bras ouverts au niveau de mes hanches, prête à recevoir. Dans le creux de ma main sautaient de petites grenouilles minuscules, toutes mignonnes, toutes vertes et toutes reluisantes. Au-dessus d’elles, flottaient des petites fées. Le battement rapide de leurs ailes faisaient l’illusion d’un kaléidoscope étincelant. Une lumière brillait : surnaturelle ! C’était merveilleux, ces petites grenouilles et ces petites fées batifolant dans la paume de ma main gauche ! J’avais enfin trouvé la paix dans l’Éternité. Le Temps ne comptait plus.

Well it's good to travel...i wish i could it do it more. I love painting even if its decorating, it's theraputic. I'm gonna jump in the shower now i have to be at work shortly. Have a productive day, drink plenty of water :)
The heat can make for lazy it's true. But when you can afford to be lazy make the most of it. I'm on holiday with my boys next week. So i'm hoping for some sunshine. I've already been to Rome it's felt like home more than home. I hope to go back there soon. Have you ever been?
