#1 Singer/Songwriter Australia (Reverbnation 2019)
“The artistic love child of folk singer Joni Mitchell and stadium rocker Robert Plant.” (David Butler)

Rebecca Moore is a highly accomplished, award winning singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her music is described as traversing the plains between Led Zeppelin’s Battle of Evermore and Stevie Nicks’ Gold Dust Woman. She has supported many great artists including Archie Roach, Xavier Rudd, Christine Anu, the John Butler Trio, Jon Stevens (Noiseworks), Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) and the Afro Celt Sound System at the Sydney Opera House.

Rebecca has received many nominations and awards for her songwriting including winning an APRA Professional Development Award in the Rock category. She has numerous top 10 placings in The Songsalive Song Comp, Musicoz, the ASA Songwriting Awards and the Australian Independent Music Awards. Rebecca was also nominated for the Australian Songwriters Association Rudy Brandsma Award for Songwriting Excellence. She has toured the UK three times playing at festivals and music venues.

Driven both by music and a strong social conscience, Rebecca is coordinating a series of concerts, which raise funds and awareness for a group of Orphans in Myanmar, known as the Nargis Children. So far over $23,000 has been raised for these lost children through concerts and touring.

Rebecca’s new album titled ‘Return’ spans more than a decade of touring and songwriting both in Australia and the UK. Her original songs combine the beauty of folk and celtic lyricism with the power of rock music and the blues. Her album was recorded with David Sparks (Pirate Studios) in Tathra, NSW and with Martin Russell (Sonic Innovation Studios/Afro Celt Sound System) in London. It was released on the 19th April, 2019.
