*ABOUT XAVIER MOREL*
In the winter 1976, Xavier Morel went with his family to a Winter Amusement Fair and won a prize at the lottery. It was the KRAFTWERK/RADIO ACTIVITY single and since then, he became deeply attracted to electronic music.
He started his career by mixing in 1988 for several private parties in London and the suburbs for about 2 years and played at the Kho Pangan 1990 New Year party. Afterward, he went to Japan and worked every weekend as a resident DJ at the Razzle Dazzle. Therefore, he started a professional career as an international DJ.
Since the beginning of the 90’s, Xavier Morel has played all around Europe, Asia (mainly Japan), Australia, USA or South America. Japan has always been his favorite country for mixing. He has developed an extensive knowledge and a genuine technique that makes his mixing very special.
In 1994, He worked as a Label Manager with Simon Gahary (Blue Room A&R) and for Sony Music France.
Since 1995, Xavier Morel has produced several tracks on various projects, mainly with Juno
Reactor, Prime Suspect, Section X, Eat Static, Fuel, Carcharodon Megalodon.
Xavier Morel is responsible for developing a techno branch for the account of Solstice Music International and released a second compilation in October 2006. He also produced recently a compilation called MODE-S for the account of A-RIGHT RECORDS Music Japan coming out in November 2006.
Now, Xavier started his own vinyl label called RASPUTIN RECORDS together with his friends Igor and Nico from

Virgil Enzinger a Salzburg based Austrian producer, was able to convince from the very beginning of his career. His performance at Cosmium Radio (Stuttgart) was the first step to reach a larger audience, followed by further acts at various clubs inStuttgart, for example the “6 Years Anniversary” of Partysan BaWü at M1 or on events with known artists like Monika Kruse, Cristian Vogel, Richard Bartz, etc. Focused on the harder sound of techno music, he became part of the “Future Classics Publishing” in Frankfurt, and got the chance to release on Neuton´s inhouse labels .
Beside his very clear vision and expectation to what he wants to bring out on the creative channel, he is also trying to improve the technical side of his productions from track to track. He was invited to play live at “10 Years of Neuton pt.1” (Mtw /Robert Johnson), where he got in contact with DJ Brixton, who released Virgil´s next EP on his own label Kazumi. At “10 Years of Neuton pt.2” he had unique opportunity to play live at the famous “Tresor Club” in Berlin before it closed. This performance had a very positive impact on his upcoming tracks. Followed by events like this, he got the chance to release the track “Personal Enemy” on Eric Sneo´s label Masters of Disaster, which appeared in charts of various techno artists (Adam Beyer, Eric Sneo, Chris Liebing,…). After this EP, which was also remixed by Alex Bau, Eric Sneo wanted Virgil to release another Ep on his second label “Beatdisaster”, together with Basic Implant. Virgil teamed up with Eric Sneo for producing and releasing together on a next Ep called “Dynamic Flow” on the Belgium label “Patterns”.
Continuing support from Chris Liebing (Charts April, August, September, November & Year Charts 2006) has positively influenced the musical direction in which Virgil is progressing now. His music carries a distinctive mark as he is pursuing a true everyday underground lifestyle. Virgil´s sounds fit in perfectly to the demand for straight but still grooving techno – always trying to create a new level of quality in his further productions. His next Ep has been released on Cl Recordings (Clr15), followed by a live performance at the 7th anniversary of “Es ist Freitagaaabend…” at U60311 together with Chris Liebing and Speedy J.

*ABOUT SEBASTIAN R. KOMOR*
Sebastian R. Komor was born in Zabrze, Poland, May 5th, 1976. He moved to Norway in 1981. He relocated to Canada in 2004. Music has always been a part of his life as his parents used to have music going a lot. With the exceptions of family gatherings which led to strange Polish folk music and dances, nuff said! Now where were the digital cameras and You-Tube back then!!?
Before he started making music painted and drew a lot, art was and still is an important part of his life. Later on his art reflected the music he made, or was it the other way around? Artistic influences were and still are; H.R. Gigier, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Dave McKean and numerous others. He does all his own artwork and design for his releases. Some of his older airbrush art became the front cover for a Norwegian Black Metal band, also has a couple of art exhibitions in his late teen's and early 20's. Then music came and swept him over. He still draw and do graphic art these days, but in most cases it is directly related to music. He has done all of his own websites. He has to teach himself Flash and Dreamweaver to do so. He bought some books and spend days figuring the whole thing out. He still wish he has time to learn more about actionscript, dynamic html, javascript and all that, some day.

*ABOUT THOMAS P. HECKMANN*
Thomas P. Heckmann started doing techno-house music professionally in summer 1991 with his first release EXIT 100 - LIQUID .
After doing all sorts of electronic music since age eleven - including synthi pop, industrial, ebm, experimental - he was attracted by the likes of KLF and 808 STATE´s early stuff, that lead him into the new acid and techno styles in 1989 . His first release as EXIT 100- Liquid on the just started label FORCE INC was a good start into the then small techno world . It brought him the respect of a lot of people and the license on DANIEL MILLERS label MUTE RECORDS in England, which was single of the month in MELODY MAKER and reached number 20 in the independend charts in 1992. He also was one of the pioneer producers to release new acid styles in the likeness of UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE and +8 in Germany with his other projects on FORCE INC : AGE and SKYDIVER . Another of his landmark inspirations for germany ! After producing successfully for FORCE INC until 1993 he released new stuff on LABWORKS records in Germany under the name SPECTRAL EMOTIONS and on DJAX-UP-BEATS in Holland as PURPLE PLEJADE . 1993 he launched his own label TROPE RECORDINGS with his first release under his most successful project DRAX . TROPE RECORDINGS invented new styles, new sounds, new record- formats and was soon one of the leading independend techno labels in Germany and got friends and big following all over the planet . 1994 saw the birth of another label called ACID FUCKER UNITE (A.F.U) , projected more as an acid-house and dance-label with his own projects SILENT BREED and ELECTRO NATION, which also earned a big following all over the world ! His first big hit came out in 1994 as DRAX LTD. II - AMPHETAMINE, that became a world wide crossover hit and even reached number 20 in the official french charts . It is still played all over the world and was influencing lots of producers - commercial and underground ! Extensive live-touring through America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria, France, ... since ´91 made him one of the most respected and most freaked out live-acts in the world . Thomas rejoined FORCE INC in 1997 as AGE and released a 12 inch which was followed by a complete AGE album in march 1998 ! He also launched a new Label for Electro-Style music called ELECTROCUTE SOUNDPLATES, with it´s first release early september 98 . Winter 98 was the most successful time for SILENT BREED . The track SYNC IN, which was originally released as A.F.U. 016 one year before, was picked up as a crossover - tune and became a commercial hit, reaching even position 83 in the official german top 100 and reached also position 1 in all german dance charts . . The follow up IN VIVO reached position 103 in the german charts and also position 1 or 2 in all german dance charts . SILENT BREED played twice at VIVAs Clubrotation . SYNC IN changed the commercial scene - all was getting more techno and harder - in germany and people still trying to copy it until today ! Though still doing the music he loves and still doing powerful techno tracks, people are more aware than ever of thomas´ work, ´cause again he changed the minds of a lot of people again and showed them, that one can do underground music, but can also be successful without selling out !!! In the underground field his most rockin´ projects from 98 - 00 were on FORCE INC. again : WELT IN SCHERBEN and KNARZ, the later introducing vocals by Thomas and HECKMANN . The SÄGEZAHN / SAWTOOTH sound he invented together with cologne´s Mike Ink was the techno-sound of late 98 !!! In late 1998 he joined up with Carlos Peron (the founder of YELLO) and they produced a complete album under the name TRÜMMERFELD, that´s sadly still not released . Thomas produced an album for Wavescape as HECKMANN called TANZMUSIK, that got very good reviews in german magazines and was even awarded record of the month in three of them ! He also started a WAVESCAPE sublabel called - as if you knew - SUB~WAVE, that is the platform for techno-house and not so hard techno stuff . The releases by T.P. Heckmann were picked up very enthusiatic and are picked up well by DJs from Ibiza to Chicago a.s.o. . The last Knarz single was released in early september 2000 and is called Kind der Nacht, that again featured the vocals of Thomas and includes a cover version of Nitzer Ebb´s Join In The Chant . The cover version of Join In The Chant was licensed by Mute in England and was released in 2001 as a Nitzer Ebb remix 12 . NITZER EBB VS. THOMAS P. HECKMANN !!!! In 2001 he re-released one of his main anthems - AMPHETAMINE - again, reworked by himself as a final remix version and to complement his best of tripple CD KOPFGEISTER 1991-2001, that featured most of his famous work and a full length bonus CD in a very nice Digipack . Between 2001 and 2005 he released several 12 inches on his own outlets Wavescape ans Sub~Wave. As HECKMANN on Wavescaoe he perfectionised the fusion of Techno and EBM with tracks like HIMMEL & HOELLE, TEUFELSWERK, BELZEBUB aso. ! The sound he created already in 1990 as Exit 100 found many fans in the Techno as well as the EBM and Gothic scene. He recorded a full length WELT IN SCHERBEN album called Scherbengericht in 2005. Since then he restarted his AFUltd. label and rereleased some of his most sought after tracks and also new stuff. Right now he´s also mastering for other musicians and does Vinyl cutting with Andreas Kauffelt at the SCHNITTSTELLE. Setting up shop in the beautiful borough of Brooklyn, Tony Rohr has had a
steady output of atmospheric, yet dance floor friendly releases. Sometimes
labeled "Voodoo Techno", his sound actually varies from release to release.
Whether it is a tech-house classic like "Baile Conmigo", freaked out noise
funk on the label Tonewrecker with Paul Birken, experimental chillout with
group Carlito Verde, or a dubbed out techno stormer like "Yadda Yadda Yadda"
his sound never quite gets pigeon holed.
DJing in the early 1990's his next step was that to producing in 1996 and
then progressively to Live PAs in 1997.
In 2002 Tony's releases landed him on various mix compilations by Frankie
Bones, Surgeon, Supa DJ Dimitri, and his biggest accomplishment Sven Vath &
Richie Hawtin's compilation of Ibiza's "Sound of the Second Season".
Just recently in mid 2004, Tony joined the German based Cocoon family as one
of their artists. "Dead Chewy" featured on the "D" compilation is still a
favorite.
His releases appear on Macintosh, Hidden Agenda, Weave , Genau, Remains,
Tonewrecker, and Cocoon but to name a few. With the release of his first
artist album TONY ROHR LOVES YOU ALL in spring 2006 (Weave), Tony shows no sign of slowing down. |
