___ENGLISH__________________________________ Music lover, musician, composer and music journalist, Rafael Aragòn aka Rafiralfiro has borned, grown and lives in and around Paris, in an urban and poly-cultural environment. A short and priceless classic piano learning gave him the keys to understand music, and computer-based music, weapons to express it. However, the quantity and diversity of assimilated music is still his best gift, according to him. Rafiralfiro can't choose between romantism and impressionism, popular and erudite music, and loves both jazz open-mind, modern music blending, and musical folklores inheritance. Refusing a conceptual and intellectual representation of music, he considers it as a priviligied space of playing and expressing, in contrast with the human langage borders. Reworking samples within an impressionist scale, for random magic to operate and then overcome it by adding played tracks, arranging and mixing it with a science of detail and density.
___FRANCAIS_________________________________ Mélomane, musicien, compositeur et journaliste musical, Rafael Aragòn aka Rafiralfiro naît, vit et grandit en région parisienne, dans un environnement urbain et pluri-culturel. Un court mais inestimable apprentissage du piano classique lui donne les clefs pour comprendre la musique. La MAO (Musique Assistée par Ordinateur) lui donnent les clefs pour les armes pour l'exprimer. Cependant, la quantité et la diversité de musique ingérée reste son principal atout. Rafiralfiro se revendique autant du romantisme que de l'impressionnisme, du savant et du populaire, invoquant l'ouverture du jazz, la curiosité des musiques nouvelles et le patrimoine des folklores du monde entier. Refusant une vision intellectualiste et conceptuelle de la musique, il l'envisage plutôt comme un espace prévilégié d'expression et de jeu, face aux limites du langage humain. Une mise à nu intime rendue possible par les capacités de la musique électronique. Travaillant les samples à une échelle pointilliste ou impressioniste, pour laisser opérer la magie du hasard, et le dompter ensuite grâce à l'ajout de partie jouées, aux arrangements et au mixage avec une science du détail et de la densité.

Un enseñamento del piano clasico, corto pero inestimable, le ha dado las llaves para entender la música. Y la música creada por ordenador las armas para expresarlas. Pero la cantidad y la diversidad de la musica asimilada sigue siendo su grande ventaja. Rafiralfiro se revedica tanto del romanticismo como del impresionismo, del savante, del popular, invocando la apertura del jazz, la curiosidad de las músicas nuevas y el patrimonio de los folklores del mundo entero. Refutando una visión intelectualista o conceptual de la musica, la considera mas bien como un lugar privilegiado de expresion y de juego, al opuesto de la comunicación humana. Trabajando los samples a una escala muy pequeña, para hacer que la magia del aleatorio funcione, y despues domptarlo agregando partes tocadas, arreglandolo y mezclándolo con una ciencia del detalle y de la densidad.
