Greetings. My name is Rachel Hatfield. :-) I'm a London based singer-songwriter. I'm currently spending most of my time finishing the writing and recording of my upcoming debut album, performing sets at various acoustic showcases, and attempting to build a following. I'm lucky enough to be working with two gifted producers who are helping me to record my material, so some fully produced tracks which are truly representative of my style and sound will be displayed on this page soon. Until then, I am temporarily displaying some demo recordings which are rough, but give you an idea of my voice and vibe. Please stay tuned to hear the new versions of the tracks, coming very soon. Don't know what all the fuss was about. I thought the Troubadour was a terrific venue and they certainly seemed to like you which just goes to show how discerning the audience is!
I know I said these things at the time but they're worth repeating. The music that goes with Hold Me Down is awesome! So different to your usual style, yet somehow still unmistakably Rachel Hatfield. Really love that song. But not as much as I love Sacred Space. That is only the second time I've heard you perform it and WOW!! Such a beautiful melody. Please, pleeeease play this more often. Next stop the Bedford. Counting the days already.....
