Painting, drawing, sewing, crafts with grandkids, reading, puter, NASCAR Nextel Racing, knitting and crochet. Things I use to have interest in but can no longer accomplish them....hiking, swimming, gardening, although this year I will try it again and with the help of hubby will have beautiful garden again.

My fav music is Classic Rock but I listen to many different genres. I have many fav artist including Sarah MacLaughlin, Phil Collins, James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Carly Simon, Neil Diamond,Natalie Merchant,Beatles, etc......

My Dad, worked from the age of nine because of an alcoholic father who couldn't keep a job. Went to tenth grade in school, had to leave because of helping parents. Raised four daughters and was a fantastic father. He taught himself to do all kinds of handiwork like electrician, mechanic, chef and many more. He was a successful businessman owning his own Diner/Restaurant. He was the perfect Grandfather and loved his family dearly. Family always came first. He was always there for me along with my mother whenever I was ill, even as an adult. He is no longer with us but I think of him and my mother daily.
I am married and have four grown children, eight grandkids and one great grandson. We have a comical,crazy family that usually is out of control when we're all together. We've been known to throw peas and green beans,if there's no peas available. We love to tease and torment each other. You're never safe with us because we will always find something to make a joke about.I've had Fibromyalgia, Arthritis over eight years and probably had
fibro most of my life.It's like having the flu every day of your life. Short term memory loss, a symptom of Fibro, is sometimes worse than the pain.I cope with the pain and fatigue by playing pc games,talking to ppl in the online support group I belong to,posting on the message board at FibroTalk. Being with ppl who know what FMS is all about has made a big difference in my life.
Who I'd like to meet: Ppl of all ages esp ppl w/same type interests and hobbies. Chronic pain/Fibromyalgia/CFS/Family Oriented
