In 2005 “Alarm-prisen” decided to nominate the band for the best live act, along side big and well established Norwegian artists like: Madrugada, Turbonegro, Ricochets, and Kaizers Orchestra, and “PIB” came out victorious with a smoking new prize to put on the mantle for their efforts on stage. This blood alliance formed in 2003, and was known across the globe for their hardcore and vigilant display of healthy human values such as: Animal liberation and political-injustice to name a few.
After a 4 year crusade, the band decided to pursue other musical interests, and split up in 2007, leaving fans across the world in tears. But after countless hours of thinking they decided to get their shit together, and the band reunited.
Now they’re back with a vengeance, to blow all you’re fucking heads off..
The spite their young age, they have already toured across the US, Europe, and Scandinavia.
“Last leaves of the poisoned tree” was released in 2004, and “Reaper of souls” in 2006, both critically acclaimed in Norway, as well as internationally.
And the festival scene got their share of the beast, Roskilde, Hultsfred, Quart, and Øya were all left with headbangers with exploded heads.
They have also share stage with big names like: Hatebreed, God Forbid, the Agony Scene, Satyricon, Bleeding Through, Strapping Young Lad, Maroon, Heaven Shall Burn.
After being six feet under, the beast that is Purified in Blood has risen from the ashes.
So now the people your parents warned you about is ready to yet again claim their throne.
