About me: Susan Frankovich has studied many different styles of dance as well as martial arts since childhood. She credits Arianne Monti (former teacher and dance partner from Apsara Tribal Belly Dance Ensemble) for her strong foundation in American Tribal Style. In recent years, Susan has developed
her own unique "tribal stylings" and travels the world performing and teaching Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, most notably across the US, Asia and Croatia. In 2002, she was coined "the biggest attraction of the Adriatic Coast" by Amsterdam's Elle Magazine during her nightly
[residency/performances] at the famous Troubadour Live Jazz Cafe in Dubrovnik, Croatia. During her time in New York City, Susan was a dancer in the original PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment) branch and co-founded Alchemy Dance Theater with Sarah J. Locke. In 2005, she joined Bellyqueen. Currently based in the SF Bay Area, Susan performs with Electric Vardo and has collaborated with solo artists Frederique, Elizabeth Strong, Mira Betz and Jill Parker of Ultra Gypsy.

wow. that made me a little sad. but mostly for selfish reasons. cause a ticket to oakland is so much cheaper than a ticket to croatia. i guess i'll just pick up a couple shifts and make it work. . . when will you be in one place at one time?
i saw some napkins yesterday i thought you would enjoy. they were cleanly folded, but as i lay a fork and knife on them they had this cheerful bounce to them that made me smile.
