from Laurie Anderson to Frank Zappa and all points in between. from old to new. Some of my favorite shows...Peter Gabrial in 1982 at the Agora Ballroom in Dallas changed the way I thought about music. He made me realize there was way more to the picture than meets the eye. Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders at TAMU in 1985 was another magical night. "I just want to kiss the stage Iggy Pop spit on" is one of my favorite live quotes. Hanging out with Willie at the Luck Texas World Headquarters on Easter Sunday 1997 was another great moment. Speaking of Texas music, the Butthole Surfers...what can you say about them but HOLY SHIT! Who else??? There's so many; David Byrne and David Bowie. I love reggae. Austin's The Killer Bee's are awsome. Dread Zeppelin is another. SRV was amazing. Speaking of guitar gods, I NEVER saw anything like Frank Zappa...the man was in a league of his own, RIP. Then of coarse there's Erik Johnson, Steve Vai, Beck and Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page playing with the Black Crows, Robert Plant, The Dead, Jerry Garcia, Kate Bush, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Kinks, Bob Dylan and The Band, Little Feat, Jane's Addiction, The Crystal Method...the list just goes on and on and on and on...Oh yeah ELP and Jimi Hendrix. Then there was Tommy Bolin.................

When the evening is spread out against the sky

By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown
Till human voices wake us, and we drown." T. S. Elliot
