Project Underground have entered a new and exciting phase of stability. We've had the same line up for 6 months now and are making music with rocks in it :)
We have several gigs lined up and including a run in with Trillians Battle of the Bands and a possible slot on the unsigned bands stage at the Gosforth Gathering! We will soon be hitting the recording stiudios to record our first EP. Keep your eyes peeled, it will blow your mind!
In The Beginning
A chance meeting of minds led Zaf and Deviant to begin the quest for a new edge in Metal. After a few sessions they began to look for band members.
Dredded Jim was found, tried and hanged for crimes of being too damned rock on the drums, so only a bassist was required to fill out the sound.
After several searches and several bassists later a sudden flurry led to finding a great bassist who truly aspires to be Cliff Burton and Flea in one -> Jimmi...
Our first gig was at the Stage Door where we had around 200 in to rock with us, we played with Disco Witch and Squashed Henries. It was an amazing afair from when we kicked off with escape and blew their socks off with rage, to leave them only screamager would do it :D Wow what a buzz, there are photo's here.
Unfortunately Jimmi had no time to commit, but we soon found 'k(w)ite mad' Iain... who's always flying on Druridge Bay:P
We hit the Telegraph hard and rocked it to the floor, everyone loved the set screaming for more :p Roll on Trillians!!!
Yet another twist of fate led the Dreaded one away to scotland, now we have poached Chaos Society's Kev Milburn, who is soooooooo tight and whacks his bins hard!
