I have not missed a voting opportunity since the first time I was eligible to vote in 1996. I will be casting my votes Tuesday, so will my husband and in the near future, my son, who is eight years old and can't wait to vote!

I think we need to seriously petition the government to reinstate the draft. When the price goes up, people pay attention. It is easy to support the troops when it is someone else's son or daughter. How much support will this war have when every American family is on the hot seat? If a majority of Congress and a majority of protesters bind together and seriously debate bringing back the draft maybe people will look at where their devotion lies--Why should so few pay the price for the many who say they support Bush and his war?
