People say: "Onstage she unleashes a swagger that would make Mick Jagger proud"- Daniel McCabe, Elle Canada
"Her music hails from the full-on rock and roll side of punk, but it’s her moves, angular yet flowing like a staccato ballet, that really grab your attention"- BBC Manchester
"Priya Thomas emotes so much devout passion on this ten-tracker, that you'll wonder if God is stuck in her throat"-Christine Estima, The Gate
"Thomas herself is wild: a dark, skinny, suicide-blonde dervish of a performer...Big on originality - there's nobody else like her, really." -Howard Druckman CMW
Each song is literally the best two to three minutes of your life! She was fiendishly dancing right off the top, all over the cramped stage...She even fell a few times! She was like a caged animal, pacing through her territory" -ChartAttack Live Review
..."fantastic...confrontational" -The Globe and Mail, Canada

Have a listen if you get a chance, I think youd really dig it! You can download it free if you visit his myspace.

i had one of those, "Ive been through the desert on a horse with no name .... It felt good to be out of the rain....In the desert you can remember your name....cause there aint no one for to give you no pain", type moments. I had no reason to be there but I guess it was some kinda change.
Dresden is going very well!! Gigs are coming up overy other day and apparently the summer is supposed to be really quiet for live music!
Thats great news about the studio and your plans for europe in the fall, do keep me up to date with those :)
Oh yeah I wanna do "A Little More Fine" at an acoustic show I have next thursday. I've got it pretty much worked out but if you get the chance could you send me the chords for "A Little More Fine" just so I can be sure? that would be great.
Oh and I'll be filming that gig so I'll let you know when it's up :)
Take it easy Priya it'S always good to hear from you, talk soon ;)
I saw you play North by north east at the bovine. I was shocked beyond belief. The soul from you was refreshing and inspirational (bein a female musician). It was such an honour to watch you perform live, and I can't wait to see you guys play at pride. The band was unbelievable. THANK you. I've been talking about you guys to everyone. I throw indy shows and am currently trying to take it a step up and throw the next wood stock. A friend of mine had bought the property last year, but the politicians in the area are not to happy about what happened at the last wood stock (the total trashing of the place) If I convince the mayor I would be delighted to have you guys play. WAY to show Toronto what we have!
