Pretty Whores of Manhattans uplifting mix of pure rock’n’roll and pissed off hardcore is a kick in the nuts towards the tenacious rock mythology. What they lack in leather and studs is compensated in a live performance that will break your body and bones and leave you grasping for air.
The band was founded in Lund, Sweden during the winter of 2006. The three-piece have played close to forty shows and been the openening act for bands such as Electric Eel Shock and Be Your Own Pet. They’ve been featured in several Swedish magazines including Scandinavia’s biggest punkrock and garage magazine Denimzine. Recently the band was voted “Demo band of the month” in Swedish leading radio station P3.
It’s snapping and popping, it’s barking and sparkling. Pretty Whores of Manhattan is a Hardcore-explosion full of teenage hormones, inspired by bands such as Beastie Boys, The Bronx and Rolling Stones. Pretty Whores of Manhattan will find a way to touch you, either you’ll like or you’ll pass out.

Kan ni bara inte tänka er att komma över till Oslo och köra lite EM-uppladdning eller måste man ta tag i brösthåret och ta sig till Malmö för att få sånt överladd?
