Chicago’s Pretty Good Dance Moves have been enticing people to move their feet with their '80s-influenced electro-pop since 2007.
Formed by Jimmy Gianopolis and Aaron Allietta, the duo found national attention after their debut EP was championed by music critic and tastemaker Jim DeRogatis. The EP, recorded and self-released in 2007, featured collaborations with vocalist Genevieve Schatz of Company of Thieves. In 2008 the band won Famecast’s Best New Video award for the video for their single “P.D.G.M.” ~ Gregory Heaney
