POISON OATH was formed in the early summer of 2006 in Hemmingford, Quebec, Canada... For those who don’t know where this is(probably most of you) it’s a small little dinky shit of a redneck hick town in the middle of fuck knows where. since their formation, POISON OATH has forged a unique identity combining sheer brutality with an awkward combination of many different metal genres.
2007 brought to life their debut EP "Endless Torment" many thanks to "The Big Fred Studio" for setting that up for us. POISON Oath is currently seeking booking agencies and production for booking shows during the summer of 2008.
With they’re line-up consisting of front man and vox Michel Lussier aka "Gorefinger", Shredding lead guitars of Burke Meloche, the fat drive from bassist James McCallum, and drummer Matt McCallum beating the drums, POISON OATH’s songwriting displays maturity and complexity in their music while maintaining the brutality and aggression shown while performing live. POISON OATH rejects commercial trends and is strickly underground while successfully balancing a unique sense of originality. With having performed only a little over 2 dozen live shows they’ve managed to draw in much publicity in and around Montreal. POISON OATH will unleash a new demo of extremity in late 2008 so keep an eye and an ear out for the brutality that is POISON OATH.
