LUCÍA SAMITIER, Soprano- Soprano de origen aragonés, ha estudiado canto con la maestra sueca Gudrun Bruna y ha recibido clases de interpretación con profesoras especializadas en interpretación de música antigua como Guillaumette Laurens o Emma Kirkby. Su repertorio en el campo de la interpretación histórica incluye desde el canto gregoriano y la monodia trovadoresca, hasta los temas de tradición sefardí y los madrigales renacentistas.
ARTURO PALOMARES. Tenor y cítola
Tenor y cítola, inicia sus estudio de canto y guitarra en la Escola d'Art Musicals Luthier y Conservatorio Profesional de Badalona. Recibe clases del tenor Josep Benet y obtiene el título de Profesor de Canto. Paralélamente obtiene la Licenciatura en Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Barcelona, con un currículum orientado al medievalismo y las artes escénicas. Posteriormente contínua sus estudios de canto con la maestra sueca Gudrun Bruna.

Pneuma members have a wide knowledge of ancient music. They study the historical and artistic atmosphere around the music that they play, going deeply into musicology, literature and art history (particularly between the Middle Ages and the Baroque period).
They not only collaborate with other groups of ancient music and make investigation studies, but also make creative research from ten years ago.

Formación catalano-aragonesa dedicada a la música antigua desde 1992, el grupo Pneuma Música Antigua, se ha consolidado como una de las propuestas más representativas dentro del panorama musical especializado en la interpretación de música histórica en nuestro país. Liderado por la soprano Lucía Samitier y el tenor Arturo Palomares la agrupación apuesta por una interpretación fresca y vital a la hora de descubrir y revisar el repertorio de épocas pretéritas. --------------------
Pneuma, ancient music, performs and researches into the music existing in the period from 9th to 16th Centuries. The aim is to bring the Middle Ages to light, a full and fundamental time from an artistic point of view.
The aim of Pneuma is going many years back, until arriving at a world existing more than 400 years ago.
We would like to evoke audience the artistic and musical atmosphere of the Middle Ages. A large variety of repertoires, which include several themes, show widely the daily life of that time.
