One of the best movies I have ever seen...Pride and Prejudice. It was beautiful. My favorite movie of all time is Dangerous Beauty although Pride and Prejudice is now right up there too. Some others are Rent, Queen of the Damned, Practical Magic, The Craft, Hope Floats, Gia, Under the Tuscan Sun, Girl Interrupted, To Catch a Thief, Pillow Talk, The Quiet Man, Equilibrium, Phantom of the Opera, Brokeback Mountain, Princess Mononoke, Appleseed, and most of the basic 80s movies.
Television
I love Heroes and Lost. We usually just get the seasons on Netflix and watch them through. I also love Deadwood, Invasion, Firefly, The Shield, Gilmore Girls, CSI Vegas, Queer As Folk, The L Word, Robot Chicken, and I hate to say it but we started watching Desperate Housewives when we were bored one day and I actually like it. LOL

Some favorite books are the Merry Gentry series and the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, Bastard Out of Carolina, White Oleander, The Rowen series by Anne McCaffery, and the Icewind Dale series by R.A. Salvatore. I also love Harry Potter. I like to read books about the relationship between humans, animals, and nature. I like to study religions and beliefs, mostly nature based ones like Wicca, and also astrology, tarot, and fairies.
Reading is a release for me. When I read, I get caught up in the story and forget to think about my problems and worries. It's a whole other world.

My brother....
He has been through a lot, but he still keeps going and smiling the whole time. He always makes me laugh and really feel it. I can tell him anything, and I consider him one of my best friends. I would die for him in a heartbeat...no second thoughts. I would do anything I could for him...I love him.
My Mom
She is such a strong woman and has been through so much. She taught me to be strong and graceful.
My Dad
He has always been one of the strongest men I know. He never complains and he works so hard to provide for the people he loves. He taught me to love to read and learn and not be so quick to anger. He has been a rock for me. I am definitely daddy's girl.
My
Grampa Bormet
We grew up on the farm with him and we loved him so much. He was a hard working farmer and a great father and grandfather. He died a few years ago after about 40 long years of Parkinson's Disease. No matter how bad it got he still worked when he needed to, laughed as often as he could, and never missed a baseball game. Before he married my Gramma he played on the Chicago White Sox. He was about to go pro when he met her and decided to go back to the family farm. My brother loves baseball and a lot of it has to do with Grampa. He played on the White Sox, but like Steven likes to say...he was a diehard Cubs fan and so is Steven. :) We miss him all the time, and I wish he could have been there to see me get married, but I know he was there even if we couldn't see him.
True magic is neither black nor white. It's both because nature is both, loving and cruel, all at the same time. The only good or bad is in the heart of the witch. Life gives a balance of it's own.

Well let's see...I love music. Someday I want to be vegan. I love animals and I am very passionate about how they are treated. I hate racism and ignorance. I am very stubborn and independent (much to Brett's chagrin lol). I love nature. I love snakes, and I hate spiders. I am deathly afraid of them and heights. I always have to feel that I have some semblance of control or it drives me crazy. I'm working on that. lol
I'm an environmentalist and animal rights activist. I am very passionate about the things that matter to me. Like this earth that we are only borrowing until we pass it on to the next generation, and ALL of the inhabitants on it.

I spend a lot of time lost in my thoughts. I would move there permanently, but I can't afford the white jacket...yet. I'm very close to my family and friends. There isn't anything that I wouldn't do for them. I don't force my beliefs on others and I don't like it when others try to force their beliefs on me. I am not a fan of people who use their beliefs or their god as something to hide behind or as an excuse for inexcusable behavior. I am open-minded, non-judgemental, and intelligent. I can't stand it when women act stupid on purpose.....it's worse than actually being stupid.
Love, lust, and sex have no gender for me. I fall into these things with the person not their gender. I have found the perfect man and have fallen deeply in love. I can't imagine my life without him. You don't know how much you have missed something until you have it. I love having someone to love and to love me every day.
