THE PINKS: dulcet originals and painstakingly chosen covers...Mind bending 3-part harmonies to the accompaniment of violin, guitar, accordion and bass with the occasional drumkit thrown in 'cause...Saturday Night's Alright for Fightin'....It rocks!....No, it lulls...no, wait....

The Siren Folk Metal Quartet, The Pinks entertains with their signature Andrews Sisters-esque vocal harmonies over accordion, violin, electric bass and Pinky's club fist guitar. Coupling mild irreverence with unapologetic sentimentality, no Pink Sabbath gig would be complete without equally respectful nods to The Ronettes, The Fairport Convention, The Band, Big Star and The Supremes.
Recently angry Friday night revelers have necessitated the employment of freight train drummers, The Last Left Stading: The inimitable Christopher Krotkey. Otherwise THE PINKS....(that's truncated PINK SABBATH, because we can only handle SO many requests for "War Pigs" and "Sweetleaf," stirring though the subject matter be)...again, THE PINKS, we be:
Lady Pinkwick (Diana Lerwick on accordion, flute and vocals) Pinky Pfeiff-a-dero (Adrienne Pfeiffer on guitar, kazoo and vocals) Magenta (Cindy Giuliani, on bottom) and Mistress of Darkness (Marisa Martinez). We're not afraid of wood wind intruments, or anything else, so prepare thyself.
Don't let the occasional name changes and fantastical masquerading fool you THE PINKS: It's all part of your folk and roll fantasy. For those about to Folk, we salute you.
The CD: THE PINK SABBATH: THE PINK SABBATH. Fully guarnteed and insured.
Dear Friend,
I posted my clip, Neurofibro, to my myspace page yesterday and I hope you will take a moment to watch. It talks about the genetic, childhood disease, neurofibromatosis, which I have and which has left me paralyzed for 10 years now.
For those of us, who are sick, it is vital to mobilize for a cure. Please, watch my clip and, if you would like to help, please send it on to your friends. With this clip our voice will be heard, and more people, and the media, will learn about this tragic disease. By spreading the word we will have achieved something great, a better chance at finding the cure we so desperately desire.
