Since about 1999 Justin Chechile has been writing as Pillars.
Though for many years playing a less visible role on drums for various bands all the while perfecting the sound that would one day be ready for release. Spring 2007 marks that day with the release of the yet unnamed record by Pillars.
Nearly every song written on acoustic guitar, complimented with neat production incorporating piano, bass, sparse drums and percussion as well as Rhodes and B3 organs. The record is an expansion of the live performances which feature acoustic and vocals solo, while staying true to the core of the songs.
