I'm interested in studying foreign language, and therefore am now studying in Germany to better my German. I can also speak some Spanish, but since I've been in Germany my Spanish has been getting worse! I'm even taking beginner's Russian in school here in EAST Germany! And I chat online a ton. Myspace is great. I like music and even the Bob and Sheri morning show is great!

About me: I'm Adam. I'm from Jerusalem,Ohio, but I'm now living in Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein. I was born in Gallopolis Ohio.
I'm studying at the Jungmanschule in Eckernförde. I like to watch TV, and also like to go to the theater and to go shopping in the mall. I chat a lot online, and I am not so addicted to myspace anymore. :-D I like listening to music and traveling with my family. I have a sister, Jill, and she's just had a baby, Sydney Lane Price! I'm now officially "Uncle Adam." :-D I like to study foreign languages and I of course speak English, am now studying German first hand in Germany, have studied Spanish for three years in High School (and plan to study a semester abroad in college too, for Spanish), and have now also had a year of Russian in former East Germany. I get good grades in school and am a proud graduate of the Barnesville High School class of 2008!
I GOT ACCEPTED TO OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY!!! And I will be begining University in late September '08! I'm though torn as to which University I'll be attending. My current situation doesn't make it practical to start at Ohio State, and I think I may study my first year at the Ohio University Eastern branch in St. Clairsville. Then I will transfer to the Ohio State University main campus in Columbus for my Sophomore year. My major will be "Lehramt in Deutsch als Fremdsprache" (I don't know exactly how to put it in English... I'll be studying to become a High School teacher of German as a foreign language!) I want to combine that with Spanish too. That way I could be a German and/or Spanish teacher. Then if I don't get a teaching job, I can always back that up with translating. Interpreters are always needed.
Of course I'll also try to fit it into my university studies to study abroad. (Hopefully another semester here in Germany, and a semester in Spain or some other Spanish speaking country!!!) I'm deffenately excited! I can't wait to get to college!
And on July 11th comes the bitter, sweet end of my foreign exchange year!
This year's really been a once in a lifetime experience, and I'll cherish it for the rest of my life! I'm so thankful for all the support from my parents that helped to make this year possible, and proud of myself for the hard work I've done to make it happen!

If anybody's got questions reguarding a foreign exchange year (AFS HOPEES), just ask! I'm more than happy to talk with any of you about it! ... I know I had trouble finding people that had been through an exchange already when I was researching it... Just ask if you have questions!

Hey Buster, Looks like your friends miss you too! I know I do. Just checking out your space. Maybe you should put your info in english so everyone can read it. I noticed your mood is bored. Its the weekend why arent you out exploring the city or checking out the sites? Are there still leaves on the trees? Its staying a little colder here and its been raining so most of the leaves are gone now but a few remain. The landscape is very beautiful now. I have taken a few pics but I need to take the cam in for developing. I will when I go to town. Did I tell you I have to go to Col on Mon to do a deposition for sa attornies?
