Re: More for free -- It has come to my attention that many people prefer albums as physical media. Though it's been kind of a secret here for awhile, anyone that donates directly to me [using the paypal button above] $5 or more will get a thank you gift, usually in the form of self-pressed cd's filled with unreleased tracks, drafts and works in progress or a link to some high-quality mp3's that you can burn and keep in whatever form you want. Donations of $10 or more will get a pro-pressed cd or compilation from the archive too (outside the u.s. this is trickier, but i'll try to accomodate!).

Biography::: Phylum Sinter is the pseudonym of 26 [born December 26, 1980] year old C.Todd, a Detroit-area native currently living in the outskirts of the City. He has been making music for as long as he's been able to read/write [4-5 days].
When asked on his goals, he had this to say:
"Currently, I am fascinated with the interplay of senses. I continue to explore synaesthetic responses. It is my goal to get to the point where I am comfortable applying the observations made on altering mindstates via sound and rhythm to provoke emotional, mental and physical responses in the listener -- much in the same way film directors or poets can."

:::02.08.2008::: Abundance and Thriving throughout - Well it's officially the year of the Earth Rat, or a year of survival... the beginning of a new cycle in so many ways for so many people that it almost makes you want to believe there's something to it. Even if there isn't 'officially', it's been quite fitting for me personally -- After my repeated bouts of mortality last year i've arrived at a new place, a new beginning and i've come out kicking higher and um... jumping[?] harder than ever before. Earlier this week one of my tracks from my next EP entitled 'From Unity To Segmentation' (i've been talking about this one forever) was featured on xlr8r.com the track itself can be heard, downloaded and voted on right here. For other updates on that album, i've started an album development blog that's full of interviews and photos and all sorts of stuff more or less about that album right here. The Tympanik AudioCompilation 'Emerging Organisms' has had some wonderful exposure, and i've been drafting tracks for the upcoming LP i've signed on for Tympanik. Besides all this, i'm still working on a few remixes that will be announced once they're finished. Other than this i've committed to chronicling my doodles and internet findings through a tumblr page. Some call it primitive compared to wordpress, but i really like how simple it is to set up and how it acts more like a gallery than a spot for viagra spam to pile up. You can see my tumblog [mostly links and scans of my doodles, with a little bit of commentary] right here. It's always growing, always full of stuff!
:::11.25.2007::: Purposeful [Re]-Alignment - Fall has fallen upon me in a wonderous way... in that i've managed to shed many of the year's old growths and given myself time for introspective macrocosmic adjustments. This has resulted in some great music, some of which has already been released.
The Envizagae Records CD compilation entitled "First Envizion" was released in October, and features my track Torpal Cirquet, currently on the player here. I'll be releasing a 3" CD with Envizagae sometime too.
Next in the growth-spurt-skin-shedding-evidence-list is my track for the upcoming two disc CD Compilation from Tympanik Audio Entitled "Emerging Organisms" -- it contains many of my heroes and also features my track Shadow Codex. The 2CD digipak can be pre-ordered from Tympanik before it's official release of December 3rd from the label's page here.
If you've [SOMEHOW] missed the bulletins/blogs regarding My 3 track EP on IDMuziq Records entitled 'Biginsweden' be sure to check the release details out here. I've also participated in an upcoming FREE V/A release TBR on IDMuziq sometime soon, details are sketchy but i can tell you that it will include my tribute to one of the greatest escapes of my childhood, a wicked little bender of a game by the name of Metroid, the track is entitled Metametroid and it will skitter all over your tributary memory lobes whenever it's released properly. Watch the blog/bulletins for the date once i hear it.
