the electronic ideas of tristan gordon, photocopied paperbacks is an exploration of my own into sounds, music, and such.
currently, many more half-finished ideas than I do finished songs, but some will be completed eventually. of course, completeness is foolish.
what I have for your ears:
The Top-Left Pane [needed cleaning]
Screen Porches [napped on in the spring on occasion]
The Closet in the Basement [told us not to look in]
The Parlor [spent our evenings in]
"Wyred Folk is a densely layered, melancholy tinged minimasterpiece" 5/5 the beat surrender
formula essentially equates to mournful strumming, trip hop drums, monastery vibes and Radiohead's 'Street Spirit', covering the overlap ofparanoia and stoned bliss." 5/7 Matt Oliver (One Week toLive)

hey whats up? are you going to be ready to play shows soon? i believe the correct answer would be yes in this case. if not when we play in mass i hope your ready to make some noise with us...
Hello. Weve got a new song which we rather like. 'Think of the words and blow them away'. We thought we would just ask a few friends who we have been in contact with before to pay us a visit and give us their views - rather than the general circular thingy that people send. So if you have the time to listen wed appreciate your views. Ta. 'pilots
Hi and thanks for the comment. You have some nice stuff here. i particularly like the combination of acoustic guitar and electronica rhthyms in the top left pane. oh and I've just read that you're going away so welcome back when you read this.

Tristan, I lived in Dennisport Ma. for three years. Your music reminds me of peacefull
autumn evenings after all the summer craziness was over . Thank you!!!
Be well
Bob
hey me old mate. We haven't forgotten ye, we are just experiencing some delays in getting the seperates for yers. will speak soon as should be in the studio this week. bah ! pilots
Hi Tristan! Thanks for accepting - I enjoyed (and am still enjoying!) these tracks a lot... great samples/lovely atmospheres.
Hope you get to listen on some better speakers sometime.
best...
hey thanks alot man, my internet here is too slow to listen to your tunes, but i look forward to listening to them soon. And yes, grass fields are good indeed.
listen buster, can I get these downloaded or can you send me the MP3's of them ? if thats cool ill send you my e-mail. I really find your music sophisticated and punching well above its weight. I assume the 'new' one is 'the top left pane?' i dont recall hearing it before. The voice (yours?) is good and adds to the nursery rhyme quality of the sounds. Your tunes all have a great 'assemblage' collage feel and also a child-like simplicity which is rare as too many people load stuff too much.
we think you are smart . What about remixing one of our songs ? best friendly 'pilots
Hey thanks, glad to hear you like the tracks. Most of my stuff tends to have some rough edges still, but to my discredit, just as I read your comment I was working on something almost soft and pillowy.
