International Violence Against Women Beach March! When: April 19th, 12:00pm. Where: Coconuts on the Beach, Cocoa Beach
We will be raising awareness and collecting signatures for this historical legislation. We have a chance to ensure the protection of millions of women worldwide who are at a significantly higher risk of rape, murder, and other forms of abuse. Our group will then be going to Washington D.C. on April 28th to hand the signatures over to Congress as part of our Lobby Day for Amnesty International. Hope to see you all there!
His life was taken exactly one year from March 14th 2007. We must all remember him today and all those who have died from a hate crime. Stabbed 20 times and throat slit, thats the sad facts. We must face awareness, and do something about this.
